In 1990 I worked with a group restoring an area of the Fort Worth Nature Center transplanting little bluestem to it's old prairie habitat. An area that was being developed commercially had little bluestem at the site. The little blue stem was dug and we transplanted the grass in the park to repurpose it and provide cover for birds. When developers work with park personnel it helps in restoration projects.  |
