Corydalis micrantha is a member of the Papaverceae (poppy) family. 


Yellow Flowers
The genus name Corydalis derives it's name from the Greek, korydalis, which means crested lark. The flowers and spurs resemble a lark's head.



Corydalis micrantha starting to go to seed, the first day of spring in
zone 7b.


Earlier, in February, Corydalis micrantha leaves started to emerge and
 sent out the 8" long flowering stalks.
