Common names for Allium Canadense include Canada onion, Canadian garlic, wild garlic, meadow garlic, and wild onion. It is a perennial plant native to eastern North America.
This is a polyploid form of Allium canadenses otherwise known as Allium canadense variety canadense. The leaves are flattened and solid in cross section. The onions that do this have Round leaves and hollow inyeriors and the bulbils are smaller.
